You may remember our one of our feature coffees last year was from Dionisio Pintado. This lot is from his family's farm. It's a blend of bourbon and caturra coffee varieties (for the coffee nerds out there) - which basically translates to a nice balance of sweetness and acidity.
The coffee is roasted light, but it makes for excellent espresso. Also very nice as filter coffee.
Grown at 1800m. Tasting notes of grapefruit, nougat and some fruitiness.

The coffee was exported by Origin Coffee Lab, who has been working actively to improve prices for farmers, and has started a public health project in the area.
