The gesha coffee variety is one that can be difficult to grow, often having a lower yield harvest and representing a higher risk for coffee producers with smaller farms. So it's worth celebrating when they take on the risk and produce a fantastic coffee. This lot stood out to us because it has all the classic delicate notes you find with this variety - florals, honey, stone fruits - but it also has a nice cocoa-y bottom note. It's well balanced, complex and we hope you enjoy it.
