We’ve got a special release for the holiday season. It’s a funky one for those of you that like process driven coffees or trying new things.
From Finca Libre in Nicaragua, this is a Kenyan varietal in the arabica family - think big punchy flavour notes. Those new to carbonic maceration, the whole coffee cherry is sealed in a container and CO2 is pumped in. This creates an anaerobic environment for a short fermentation window, imparting fruity flavours into the coffee seeds/beans.
Due to the processing, this is a coffee that’s best brewed at least a few weeks after roasting. So don’t be shy about getting it now to enjoy over the holidays.
Grown at 1570-1690m. Tasting notes of florals, pineapple, white wine.
Great for filter or espresso.
*Grinding available for 340g bag only*
