A wonderful and balanced Kenyan coffee from the Karimikui Farm Cooperative, in Kirinyaga.
This lot is a blend of some classic Kenyan varietals, SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru 11, and Batian. Once the coffee cherries are picked, they go through a ~12 hour dry fermentation to help boost the natural acidity and sweetness. Then they are pulped, washed and dried on raised beds.
We find notes of dried pear, cranberry, ginger cookies, and rooibos.
Grown at 1600-1800m.
Great for filter or espresso.
*Grinding available for 340g bag only*
